Investment Partner
Jan Jirovec has been with Rockaway Capital since the beginning, having worked with Jakub Havrlant back in 2013. As an investment partner, he focuses on business development, investor relations and communication. He manages strategic projects across the entire Rockaway portfolio, especially the companies in the Rockaway Arts division: the media group, which includes the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Colours of Ostrava and Designblok, and a number of other cultural events.
In our group, in the past he has also worked on the Mall Group, WE|DO, Kosik.cz, Vivantis, and Heureka Group projects.
Prior coming to Rockaway Jan headed the Allegro Group for the Czech Republic and Baltic Region, where he took over from Jakub Havrlant. Before that he helped develop the PayU payment gateway on the Czech and Slovak market. He also worked in the financial software segment in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.
