On November 1st, 2018, at the occasion of Ethereum conference Devcon4 in Prague, top crypto investors and blockchain project representatives attended Rockaway Blockchain Night. Rockaway Capital was among sponsors of Devcon4.
More than 250 friends from almost 150 entities coming from all over the world participated at the event. Among them were representatives from crypto funds such as FBG Capital, Polychain, Pantera, Blocktower, Multicoin Capital, Hashed, 1kx, JRR Crypto, portfolio companies of Rockaway Blockchain such as Oasis Labs, Solana, Aergo, Quarkchain, BlockCloud and also representatives of other partners such as Paralelni Polis, Satoshi Labs, MakerDAO, Huobi, Bitmain, Polymath and Consensys.
Viktor Fischer, managing partner of Rockaway Blockchain, opened the night with an announcement that Rockaway Blockchain, a pan-European private investor, has already launched its activities: “We invest in promising blockchain start-ups, which we help to grow. We are a long-term investor, which applies traditional venture capital investing to crypto. We also launched Rockaway Blockchain Excellence Centre with a mission to promote blockchain application in private and public sector and to provide value added and advisory services to our portfolio companies.”
