Joachim Enegaard

Originally from Copenhagen, Joachim holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School.

Prior to joining Rockaway Ventures, he spent three years at the Danish VC fund, BlackWood, where he was an instrumental part of the investment team, and overall growth of the firm. While working full-time side-by-side with his studies, he was in charge of his own workflows – sourcing deals, growing the firm’s network, conducting due diligence, and presenting to the investment committee. His work led to several direct investments from BlackWood’s first fund.

Joachim was drawn to Rockaway by the strong alignment with the team, its‘ strategy, and shared ambitions – as well as a firm belief in the exciting growth potential of the CEE startup ecosystem. Through the team’s work with the founders they partner with, Joachim wants to be a part of making Rockaway Ventures a valued and preferred partner for European founders building in the early stages.
