Jan Picálek

As soon as Jan finished his Master’s degree at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University he joined Rockaway as a Financial Analyst in 2022. While at school he gained his first work experience with the Česká spořitelna real estate fund and then spent two years with the Corporate Finance tam and Deloitte. During the last year he primarily worked on his thesis, focusing on portfolio building with the help of machine learning, and passed two levels of the CFA exam. In his spare time he likes to spend time with family and friends, in the mountains, and doing sports (bouldering, crossfit, tennis, and winter sports).
