At Rockaway Alpha, you’ll be involved in investments from day one. From analysis to hands-on work with portfolio companies, you’ll work on deals that have real impact.
This is a hands-on investor role — not a purely analytical or slide-driven position.
What you’ll be working on
- Being involved in investments from start to finish — sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio work
- Preparing financial models and investment materials that directly influence decision-making
- Participating in due diligence processes and discussions around investment theses
- Working closely with portfolio companies and seeing how investment decisions translate into real-world outcomes
- Communicating with advisors, investors, and partners
- Contributing to transaction negotiations and presentations for the investment committee
“Responsibility here is real and comes quickly. We work on things that truly matter, expect ownership, and operate as a small team where we communicate openly and move forward together.”
— David Šťastný, Investment Director, Rockaway Alpha
Who we’re looking for
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, M&A, or a similar environment
- Strong business mindset and the ability to connect numbers with how companies actually operate
- Solid understanding of investment analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence, with a willingness to take responsibility for your outputs
- You’re analytically strong, comfortable working in English, and able to turn data into clear investment arguments.
- Motivation to grow toward an investor role, not remain in a purely supporting analytical position
“Rockaway builds its own companies and invests capital it actively manages — now also in cooperation with external investors. Our ambition is not only to invest, but to help companies grow and build their stories. We aim to turn regional leaders into meaningful European players.”
— Robert Chmelař, Investment Partner, Rockaway Alpha

- A steep learning curve and responsibility from day one
- First-hand insight into how investments work in practice
- An informal, ambitious environment
- Modern offices in Prague (Telehouse, Dejvice)
- Competitive compensation and benefits
