Matěj Večeřa

Matěj joined Rockaway’s legal team as Senior Legal Counsel in 2025. Prior to that, he spent six years at the international law firm Kinstellar, where he advised on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions across multiple sectors. His experience includes advising on multibillion-dollar deals such as the acquisition of Arriva Group by I Squared Capital, the acquisition of Walmark by STADA Arzneimittel, and the strategic acquisition of Praha Vaccines by Novavax. He has also been involved in major real estate transactions, including GLP’s EUR 1 billion acquisition of Goodman Group’s Central and Eastern Europe logistics portfolio and advising BHM Group on the acquisition of Prague Port Group, a company operating aparthotels and hotels in central Prague.

Matěj is a qualified attorney registered with the Czech Bar Association. He has been recognized as a Leading Associate in Commercial, Corporate, and M&A in the Legal 500 EMEA rankings. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and studied at Essex Law School in the United Kingdom.
