Rockaway announces new investments. Its portfolio activities extended with Socifi a 3DSimo

In recent days, Rockaway Group has extended its portfolio division with SOCIFI – a tool for monetizing public WiFi networks, and a 3D pen which is being sold as 3D Simo.

First investment will go into SOCIFI service which operates with monetization of public WIFI networks. SOCIFI solution is for any company which provides a free WiFi to its customers, but wants to monetize it via selling advertisement or other tools. “We believe that SOCIFI has a unique solution for monetizing public WiFi networks. The solution has currently no direct competitor and therefore the market potential is significant. Our goal is to penetrate into US market and get SOCIFI the leader position,” Dušan Zábrodský from Rockaway explains reasons for the investment. The CEO Zdeněk Hornych then explains what SOCIFI expects from the new investor: “Primarily help with the expansion abroad and using the contact with Rockaway on domestic market. About Rockaway we mostly appreciate people who have international experience and verifiable results.”

SOCIFI is active especially on American market where it will soon open its own branch: “Free public WiFi is about to be standard worldwide, not just in the USA. And as in the USA, there are no efficient tools for monetizing public WiFi networks on the market. Thanks to that, we have  a unique opportunity to become the world market leader and the synonym for WiFi monetization,” Zdeněk Hornych says.

Previously announced investment into 3D technologies has already gained a specific form, as Rockaway Group has invested into a 3D pen which enables to make three-dimensional objects. “It is a new tool for three-dimensional drawings. It enables e.g. children to make their fantasies real and also develop their motor skills. It can be useful also for artistic professions or students of design,” David Paškevič says – he is the person who made it up and created it. Compared to similar products on the market, 3D Simo has much broader functionality: “Thanks to graphic interface which is operated by a microprocessor, it is possible to set the temperature, speed, and default material profiles. It can be operated in nine languages and there are five materials available for drawing,” David Paškevič adds.

3D Simo is currently being sold in five European countries and in Japan. “In Korea and Arabian Peninsula we are just about to launch the sale. We plan to start Czech distribution in autumn,” David Paškevič, founder of 3D Simo, says. In Czech distribution 3D Simo will be offered for 2799CZK. The development of the pen took almost one year and was followed by several months of testing the finished product and production optimization.
